Once I got the boys dressed in their matching outfits this morning...I realized that Britains pants were so big on him in the waist. And for whatever reason these pants do not have the adjustable waist band(which I love) So I thought it was high time to make him a belt. It took all of 5 minutes. And there it is! And now his pants won't be falling down. And by the way, I finally got this good pic after about 20 retakes, lol!!! Sheesh, kids just don't cooperate anymore like they used to...
I have not mentioned this yet, but our car has been undriveable for the last 5 days or so. We finally got ahold of our mechanic. So it should be done by Wednesday. I think I'm going nutzo with no means of our own transportation. I feel stuck, luckily we have been able to borrow cars from people when needed. Which is MUCH appreciated!!! Anyhoo, on our way to drop off our car, I was able to stop at Joann's and pick up a few NECESSITIES, haha, yeah right, I mean...fabric!!! I was recently told that I don't have enough boyish items in my shop...so I looked around for boyish prints and found these...
I also found this black and pink cotton fabric on the clearance rack!! I love a good deal!! I think this will make a good wipe case and burpie...
I also started a chenille blanket from the baseball fabric above. Our boys bedroom is a sports theme and I'm making it for Britain's toddler bed. So I hope it fits well. I will post pics, as well as list it in my shop tomorrow!!
Now, time for La La Land :)

i love that red heidi grace fabric, i have cloth napkins made from it!
ReplyDeleteOooo, great idea!!
ReplyDeleteHmm...I have some of that very top fabric in my house, and you won't guess the purpose: my grandma made Rick an apron. PAhahaha! Seriously though, it's cute.
ReplyDeleteKaren, that's just hilarious!!! Rick will have to model that for us the next time we all get together :) I'm sure Eric would have a lot to say about Rick wearing an apron...lololol!!!
